Rodeo starts at 2 and runs approximately 2 hours (contestant and animal dependant)
At 4 o'clock the dj starts with live music from 7 to 10:30 (9 Monday)

After the last bull bucks the DJ Jack Daniels Starts off the party and the band goes on at 7. Your rodeo ticket get you into the train station saloon for this great night of entertainment

Meet our Rodeo Clown: Jayson Charters
The valley west stampede is very excited to welcome Jayson Charters as the VWS 2024 rodeo clown. Jaysons arrival marks the first time valley west stampede has had a rodeo clown! Jayson has been entertaining rodeo crowds since 2010 with his spontaneous antics, dancing and humour.
Prior to becoming a rodeo clown, Jayson competed in rodeo circuits throughout Western Canada and the United States. Jayson lives in Merritt BC with his family and is a proud member of the Okanagan-Thompson Nation.

About Us
The newly incorporated Valley West Stampede Ltd. was created expressly to organize and operate the Valley West Stampede event in Langley, British Columbia. The company consists of a supportive and passionate board of directors who have a combined 100 years of rodeo and animal knowledge and expertise. About Langley Riders Society:The Langley Riders Society started in 1965 and is a non-profit organization located in Langley, British Columbia. The society is a family club operated by and with volunteers who provide an opportunity for people of all ages to get together to share their mutual interest in horses. The Society provides a fun, learning, practice environment in which both children and adults get together to participate in several multi-disciplinary riding events and shows. What To Expect
This September Labour Day long weekend make the Valley West Stampede your premier destination for all your rodeo entertainment needs. We are Longley's only professional rodeo as we are fully sanctioned by the CPRA (Canadian Professional Rodeo Association). We provide a variety of thrilling rodeo events including Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Bareback Riding, Mutton Busting for the Kids, and Saddle bronc riding. Come join us for a day of fun and excitement for the entire family. We guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests and look forward to making your visit to the Valley West Stampede a memorable one.

The Valley West Stampede is a rodeo hosted by a board of Directors who are a group of volunteers who collectively share over 100 years of rodeo experience. We are all live in Langley and the Lower Mainland and are proud to bring the excitement of the Wild West to the local community.
We strive to provide a safe and family-friendly atmosphere for all of our guests and participants. We are dedicated to upholding the traditional values of the rodeo and ensure that all performances are conducted in a respectful and professional manner.

Ron McCarthy is the Langley Riders club photographer, and a CPRA photographer.
Ron is a seasoned veteran of the Rodeo scene and has been actively covering for the PRCA for several years.
We are grateful for Ron’s participation with the Valley West Stampede.

Photographer Sean Libin is a professional photographer based in Calgary. His eye for capturing the perfect moment is unparalleled, and he has an intimate knowledge of the rodeo entertainment scene. Sean specializes in action photography, capturing the spirit and energy of any event. His work has been featured in many notable publications, and the Valley West Stampede is appreciative of his talents. Although it pains us to admit it, we don't hold it against him that he's a Calgary Flames fan.
